Obituary of Linda Bagwell Rouse

Bossier City, LA - Services for Linda "Harper" Rouse will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 1pm at Boone Funeral Home, Airline Drive. Visitation will begin the same day at 11am prior to the service. After a lengthy and well fought battle with cancer, Linda peacefully passed on Wednesday, November 6th. Linda was a woman who enjoyed all the joys and opportunities life had to offer. She was a loving, giving and compassionate mother, daughter, friend and sister. Her will to fight, far outlasted her body's capability to overcome cancer. She left behind a true example of strong will and determination, matching by very few, in our time. She will be truly missed by her daughters. She leaves them with a legacy of how to overcome any obstacle with courage, strength, honor, love and a good hearty laugh. She is survived by her daughters Christine Holder and husband Jeff, Francis McRae and Michelle Rodrigues. Grandchildren, Ashley Shows, Natalyn Suits, Hannah Winget, Chase Rodrigues, Gavin McRae, Hunter Holder and Evan McRae. Great Grandchildren, Jay Jones, Makayla Jones, Leeland Suits, Lawson Shows. She is preceeded in death by her father and mother Woody and Bobbie Bagwell of Longstreet, Louisiana. And her beloved dogs Sandra and Sadie.
