I just found out today that Jonathan passed away. I am so sorry for your loss and want you to know that you and your family are in our prayers. We have some great memories from the spring & summer of 1992 & 1993. Jonathan was such a good friend to Daniel during those dixie baseball days. Jeff & I felt like you & Marvin were raising Jonathan with the same life goals and lessons that we were trying to impart on our boys. Their friendship meant a lot to me; being in a new place could be trying at times. I will be lifting you up and praying that you can feel God's loving arms around you in the coming days. Jeff, Ruth, Daniel & Mitchell Best -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Hester Family Shreveport, LA July 3, 2006 11:05 AM Jonathan was a beautiful, blond haired little boy when he first walked into our lives almost 20 years ago. From the very beginning he could play baseball better than those older than he, so he always had to play up with the older boys. He was shy and quiet as a little boy, but had an infectious smile that could light up the world. The thing I guess I will always remember the most was how much he was loved by his family. Sissy and Marvin adored Jonathan and he flourished with them. There was nothing they wouldn't do for him, and nothing was too much. He was a very lucky little boy that grew into a very fine young man. Jonathan will be missed by all that knew him. My older boys both had the pleasure of playing baseball with him at two different times of their lives; one as a little boy, and the other as a high school player. He touched us all, even my little one that he picked at and played with! We will miss him, but we will always have our memories! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michelle Clark Watson Shreveport, LA July 3, 2006 10:12 AM I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.
