Robert R. Short Bossier City, LA After months of declining health Mr. Robert R. Short, 91, passed from this life July 26, 2010 at the Veterans Hospital in Shreveport, LA. Mr. Short was a WWII US Army Veteran and retired truck driver for Roadway Express. He also was a teacher at Coastal College Truck Driving School. Preceding Mr. Short in death was his wife, Edna Walton Short and his son Robert Short, Jr. He is survived by his children, Dennis M. Short, Henry Short and wife Rosemary and Evelyn Delk; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Scheib; a brother, John ?Jack? Short and many other relatives and friends. A visitation with the family will held Friday, July 30, 2010 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA.
