Obituary of Lois Karan Feconda
Lois Karan Feconda was born on September 27, 1945 to parents Lois Cox Bailey and Steven Grinchunas in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She was married to her husband, Joseph A. Feconda, of Bossier City, LA for 53 years. She is survived by her husband, Joseph, two sisters, Teri Bailey Porter and Cheree’ Hill, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Karan was a loving and dedicated wife, sister, Aunt and loved her family with all her heart. Karan graduated from Bossier City High School and was a US Navy veteran which she was very proud of. Karan was a very creative person with a wonderful imagination who painted and was an accomplished interior decorator having worked for Montgomery Ward’s. She also owned and managed rental properties for a number of years. Her biggest passion was her music. She wrote numerous songs and performed on stage in her youth including the USO and local bands. Karan was also an animal lover, especially her cats. Karan passed away peacefully from an extended illness. Any memorials should be sent to your local animal shelter.
