Joseph F. Braun, 88, resident of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on September 13, 2020 at his home.

Joseph was born on July, 14 1932 in Rantoul, Illinois to Joseph and Bertha Braun. His father was a lifelong millitary man. He was in WWI, WWII and the Korean War; he would lovingly be called "Colonel Joe". Joseph would graduate from highschool in Waco, Texas and go straight into military life shortly afterwards, like his father before him. Joseph was stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base when he met his wife Agnes and were married on December 31, 1960. God blessed them with a wonderful life together and were married for 60 years. They are both members of Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, Louisiana.

Joseph is proceded in death by his father "Colonel Joe" and mother Bertha Braun; brothers, Jimmy, Frank, Harry and Donald "Donnie" Braun.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife Agnes Braun; brothers,Charles of Newark, Texas and Richard of Aviano, Italy; Sister Carolyn Zumbuchl of Waco Texas as well numerous nieces and nephews.
