Obituary of Kevin Patrick Larrimer

Our brother Kevin passed from this world to the next on Thursday April 23rd.  Kevin was a son, brother and uncle.  He was loved by many and will be sorely missed.  Kevin was born in Johnstown PA.  He attended St. Patrick’s Parochial School and was a graduate of Johnstown Area High School.  He was the oldest of six children.   Kevin started working at the Knights of Columbus bowling hall while still in high school and continued with odd jobs throughout his life.  Although he never did find his true niche, Kevin was proud of all the work he accomplished.   Kevin was a lover of trivia and enjoyed discussing sports, politics, movies and family.  He rarely missed a viewing of his favorite game show, Jeopardy, which he grew to love while watching with his mom as a young man.  He was his father’s right hand man, accompanying and assisting his dad in their many endeavors.  After his father’s death he moved to Bossier City to be closer to his younger sister and three of his brothers.  

Kevin is preceded in death by his parents Regis and Patricia.  He is survived by brother Brian and wife Deborah of Bossier City, LA; brother Dennis of Vivian, LA; brother Michael and wife Joni of Sumter, SC; brother Regis and wife Marnetta of Bossier City, LA; and sister Mary of Bossier City, LA.  He is also survived by nieces Abigail and Sydney and nephews Zachary, Richard, Jason, Todd, Deshaun, Bryson, David, his Aunt June and numerous cousins.

A funeral Mass and burial will be scheduled at a later date.  Kevin’s remains will be taken to Johnstown, PA to be buried near his parents. 

The family would like to extend their thanks to the fine doctors, nurses and staff at Willis-Knighton Bossier Three North and ICU, Sincere Client Care Services and the Easter Seals Case Management Agency for the care they provided Kevin.
