Keithville, LA ? Funeral services for Mary Magadalene Jackson will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 9, 2012 at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Shreveport. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery West. Officiating will be Rev. Ray Holman. The family will receive friends between 5:00 and 7:00 PM on Tuesday at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport Chapel, 3903 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport. Mary, a devoted Christian, went to be with her Lord on January 6, 2013 following a lengthy illness. To welcome her in Heaven is her husband, McKinley Fred Jackson. She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Bourn and husband Randall, Lana LcLaughlin and husband Steve, and Terri Durr and husband Steven; grandchildren, Leah and Logan Wooley, Damian Blake and Ashley Renee Ledford, Tammie Thompson and Chase Johnson; four great-grandchildren; sister, Jerry Young and husband Ricardo; and brother, Leland Adams. Mary loved life, her family, and her pastor. Everyone who had the privilege of meeting her will truly miss her smile and kind spirit.
