Obituary of Catherine Ann

Shreveport, LA - Catherine Ann Tuminello, age 80, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2007 at the Grace Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Grace Home Chapel. The service will be officiated by Monsignor Carson LaCaze. Catherine "Yvonne" Tuminello was born September 16, 1926 in New Orleans, LA and has resided in Shreveport since 1952. She owned and operated The Sportsman's Lounge (1962 to 2000) and Tuminello's Grocery Store in Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Josephine Tamborella and her husband Tony Tuminello. Also brothers Henry Tamborella of Portland, OR and Russell Tamborella of Waveland, MS. Mrs. Tuminello was survived by her daughter Jean Ann McCann and husband Jerry of Shreveport, grandson Tony Sheppard and great-granddaughter Anna Olivia Sheppard of Madison, MS. Also survived byher sister Mrs. Josephine Wingfield of Stonewall, LA, three nieces Margaret Ann Buccola of Stonewall, LA, Carol Ann Folk, Portland, OR, Tina Marie Jean Fraue of Marrero, LA and three nephews Wayne Tamborella of Slidell, LA and Glynn Tamborella of Gretna, LA and Dale Tamborella of Nashville, TN and numerous great nieces and nephews.
