Obituary of Martini Lopez

Martini Lopez 79, of Shreveport, LA went to be with our Lord on January 13, 2021. Graveside services for Martini will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 18, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Park, Haughton, LA.  Officating will be Chaplain Sam with St. Joseph Hospice.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nickie and W.C. Doss, and son Martin Lopez.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Mary Ann; three sons, Phillip Lopez, John and wife Stephanie, Allen and wife Leda; three daughters, Patricia Mosley, Cindy Bozeman and  husband Max, and Terri (Jo Jo) Lopez; grandchildren Ashley Watson, Nikki Phillips, Justin Phillips and wife Carmen, Cade Lopez, Gabby Mosley, Hope Sparks, Martina Bozeman, Isabelle Lopez, Max Bozeman, Maggie Bozeman, Alena Lopez, A.J. Lopez, Alise Lopez, Carlo Bruner; three sisters, Mary Moore, Juanita Frasier, and Patsy Rawls; brother, Bill Lopez; along with four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Martini was a graduate of Benton High School where he was All State in football and track. After high school, he worked for the Louisiana Ammunition Plant and Beard Industries as a machine mechanic. His world revolved around his family, as he enjoyed nothing more than a crawfish boil or fish fry while watching an LSU game.

Honoring Martini as pallbearers will be Justin Phillips, Jacob Ezernack, Max Bozeman, Clayton Dougharty, Victor McKnight, and Walter Stevens.  

The family wish to thank St. Joseph’s Hospice for their kindness and care during the time of our greatest need.

Martini loved his family dearly, and taught them the value of life.  His kindness and loving spirit will continue through generations.
