Obituary of Lucille Barbara Barnette

Lucille Barbara Anderson Barnette at 81 years of age, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family members Leane, Eric, and Kelby Sanderson. She is preceeded in death by her husband James Barnette, Sr., brother, Ron; sister, Maryann, and her Mother and Father. Lucille is survived by two daughters, Leane Sanderson (husband Eric), and Jessie Herron (husband Keith); two sons, John Barnette, and Jim Barnette (wife Gail); grandchildren, Kelby Sanderson, Christian Sanderson and numerous others; three brothers, Kenneth, Larry, and Raymond; sister, Karen; cousins, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. As a loving wife and a mom, she provided a comfortable home for family and friends. Lucille was a military wife, and a courageous mom. She was stationed in different countries in times of war with her children. Lucille had a variety of careers as secretary, telephone operator, dispatcher, and a real estate broker before retirement. Lucille was a multi-talented artist to include china painting, oil painting, tole painting, and ceramics. She also worked with stain glass in which she provided in her home. She loved to bowl and was an avid reader. The family sends a special thank you to Peaches and Mrs. Geri for the kind, warm, gentle and loving care of Mom. Also special thanks to Dr. J. Tynes, Veronica, Life Path Hospice, Dr. R. Hernandez and Suzie.
