Jean was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known - it was definitely my pleasure to have know her. She was a very kind, sweet and unique individual who also found the best in people. God Bless you Jean until we see each other again and I am confident that we will. Love you

Jeannie and I went all through school together from first grade through high school. We had a group of friends that were called the "B" girls; Jeannie Barnett, Linda Brown, Betty Barry, Bev Blair and Sondra Beckwith. We had a lot of fun times. Slumber parties were great because her Mom would always fix us great food and we gathered around the piano and listened to her Dad play. He was self taught and never used music. We girls after turning in for the night upstairs would climb out on the roof and pick cherries from the big cherry tree right next to the house. I was so glad that she called me a couple of weeks ago. Hadn't heard from her in some time and we had a great conversation that lasted about an hour. She sounded great and there was no indication that she would soon be taken away from us so soon. My utmost sympathy and prayers go out to her family. RIP MY FRIEND!

Scott, Tina and family, your mother was one of kind. Her humor was awesome, and she would tell ya the truth. She became momma Jean to my family, and we loved her so much. She had a way of always lifting you up. I truly believe she was a Angel. I never heard her say ugly things about anyone. I remember her taking to me RJ’S. Meeting her coffee table friends, and being a part of those memories. The laughter at RJ’S restaurant was so fun. I always left there feeling better, than when I arrived. You are gonna be so missed, until we met again. You were a fantastic friend.
