Dorothy Elaine Below Leone was born September 17, 1930 in Florence, SD and passed away at her home on Saturday, November 20, 2010. Dot?s family will receive friends 10:00 AM, Monday, November 29, 2010 at Boone Funeral Home on Airline Drive with funeral services following at 11:00. Rev. Charles Glorioso of Christ The King Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Miss Dot, as she was affectionately known by her co-workers, worked 41 years as a civil service employee, of which the majority was spent at BAFB in the Civil Engineering Operation Department. Dorothy was preceded in death by the passing of her parents and husband, James H. Leone. Survivors include her son, Danny Leone of Mooresville, NC; daughter, Patti Leone Brady of Aliso Viejo, CA; brothers, Paul, Carl and Donald Below; sister, Margaret Below Dovalgo; grandchildren, Justin Leone and Brittany James; and great-grandchild, Kaelyn James. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Dorothy?s name to the Alzheimers Association at either www.ALZ.org or 1-800-272-3700 or mail to P.O.
