Rachel Angela Sasser Brackman, age 85, passed away peacefully February 24, 2021 with her children beside her. She was born November 22, 1935 in Bright Star, AR to Willis and Rebekah Sasser. She was proceeded in death by her parents; son, Johnathan Sasser; husband, Arthur Brackman; brother, Leslie Sasser; and sister, Marjorie Hargus. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Adrian Brackman, of Greenwood, LA; daughter, Rebekah Dixon, of Smackover, AR; sisters, Betty Haynes of Lonestar, TX and Lottie Stewart of Harrah, OK; brother, Howard Sasser and wife Diane of Bakersfield, CA; grandson, Robert Dixon and granddaughter, Adrianna Dixon of Smackover, AR; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends whom she loved like family. Visitation will be held March 20th at 10 AM at Gracepointe Church of the Nazarene, 6825 Pines Road Shreveport, LA with a memorial service following at 11 AM. Burial will be at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery at Doddridge, AR at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or Gideons International. To keep our loved ones safe, we are complying with state regulations regarding social distancing and all attendees must provide and wear a mask.
