I was shocked to find out Jodie passed away but even more shocked to see the picture used was one of the many I took. It was absolutely my favorite. I'm pleased that he and his family liked it. It wasn't easy to get him to smile in pictures. I worked with him in Bossier at Adam's Rib and at Le Bossier. I hopefully added a photo of one of the dozens of things I drew for flyers and did a sketch that most people recognized. He was a truly unique person and I wish I hadn't lost touch.

Knew Jodie quite well during 9 years in Bossier, doing business with him and also serving on the Convention Bureau board several years together. Tremendous guy, sincere, and extremely generous. Lost touch with each other years ago, but will always be one of his many, many fans. RIP Jodie. K. Evans
