Obituary of Hayden Crofford (H.C.) Pressley, Jr.

H.C. was born on January 22, 1940 in Koshkonong, MO and peacefully passed on April 14, 2021 in Shreveport, LA at 81 years young. He was born on his family’s farm that he worked on growing up. He attended school in Koshkonong, MO graduating at Koshkonong High School. He completed a two year college program at School of the Ozarks, then he enlisted into the Air Force in 1962 as an Avionics Technician. H.C. is a Vietnam veteran who served our country for over twenty years and retired after serving as the Ground Control Approach RADAR Maintenance Shop Chief at RAF Mildenhall, England. He attained the rank of Master Sergeant and returned to Louisiana where he formally retired from the Air Force in 1982 at Barksdale Air Force Base. H. C. is preceded in death by his wife, Sorn Pressley; his parents, Hayden C. Pressley and Thelma O. Stith Pressley; his siblings, Earl G. Pressley and Oneda J. Young. He is survived by his children Steven E. Pressley, Nancy E. Pressley Lockey, her husband, James E. Lockey and grandchildren Christopher H. Pressley, April R. Pressley, Brayden J. Lockey, and Pressley G. Lockey.
