Obituary of Patricia Ann Carroll

Patricia Ann Carroll, 78, of Sibley Louisiana went to be with her Lord on April 27, 2021 while in the presence of her daughter Denise Smith. Patricia “Pat” was born June 26, 1943 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Kenneth and Oleta Martin. A Celebration of Life Service for Pat will be 2:00 PM, Friday, May 7, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Minden, 301 Pennsylvania Avenue, Minden, Louisiana. Pat met and fell in love with Charles Edward Thurman on August 12, 1961 and produced one loving daughter, Denise Smith. Pat later fell in love and remarried Billy Carroll on April 16, 1995. Patricia and Billy settled in Sibley Louisiana until her passing. Pat loved her life and family above all. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. Some of Pat’s most cherished memories were spent at her Father’s lake front home on Lake Arrowhead in Henrietta Texas. Here she enjoyed many family gatherings sharing a fish fry or Sunday afternoon meal. Pat truly enjoyed growing flowers with roses being her favorite. Proceeding Pat in death is mother, Oleta Martin. Pat is survived by her husband Billy Carroll; daughter, Denise Oleta Smith and husband Elton of Benton Louisiana; stepdaughters, Melonie Miller of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tiffany Carroll of Sibley Louisiana, and Crystol King of Hydro Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kristian Skylar Marzula of Oddessa Texas and Trishlyn Nicole Johnson of Shreveport Louisiana; father, Kenneth Martin; sister, Cheryl Tinney-Burleson; brother, Kenneth Martin, Jr.; and many other friends and family members. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers please send plants. Patricia has given so much to others and her legacy will continue for many years. She will be missed…
