Obituary of Jane Elizabeth Igo

Jane Elizabeth Igo went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 17, 2019.   Services for Jane will be held at West Lake Baptist Church in Doyline, LA on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 3pm, officiating will be Rev. John Lary and Rev. Mark Roath.  Family will be receiving friends at 2pm in the church fellowship hall.

Jane is survived by her husband of 52 years Mike Igo; children, Jodie Ricks (Bill), Carey Igo (Jennifer), Kelly Beavers (Chris); grandchildren, Summer Igo Skalski (Alex), Chaz Igo, and Hannibal Ricks; siblings, Lynda Verzwyvelt, George Roberts III, Philip Roberts (Ronda); and aunt Katie Frisco, and many other family members and friends.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents George and Jo Roberts, and sister, Ava Callahan.

Jane gave her life to the Lord at the age of six years old. She lived everyday of her life for Christ by her deeds, words, and thoughts. She found great joy in planting the seed of Jesus in the lives of many children, through her years of teaching Sunday school. Jane was known for her ministry of giving bibles. Jane’s legacy will live on through the lives she’s touched.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for dontaions to be given in honor of Jane to The Gideons Interantional.
