Brother Gene,
We will miss you, but or sorrow is lessened because we know we will see you again before long. Your great stories, your wit, your hospitality, made time spent with you precious, and we will not see your kind again this side of Heaven. You invited us into your home and made us feel like family, the way you and your bride interacted taught us how couples should treat each other. We enjoyed playing cards with you, not for the cards, but for the fellowship. Though we miss you, we know you have gone ahead to get us a table at the Wedding Feast of the Lamb, with enough room for us all. We love you Gene and are our lives much better for you being in it them. God Bless you Gene, know go forth true and faithful servant unto your rest.
