Charlotte Louise Graves of New Castle, Indiana, 90, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2021 in the company of family. A private remembrance will be held at a later date with immediate family.
Our Mother, an Eastern Star, was born August 29, 1930 in New Castle, Indiana to Clarence and Helen New. She leaves behind a loving husband, Jack Graves, three children; Jeff Luellen, Michael Graves, and Elizabeth Cummins along with her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mom lived her life to the fullest and blazed a path for women in manufacturing at the New Castle Chrysler plant. She retired in 1993 and eventually moved to the south for nicer weather.
She enjoyed painting and was inspired by nature. Her blankets that she would crochet are treasured by all the family. God gave us eternal life and Mom will live through us as we make our journey in this earthly world. She was a social butterfly that inspired all who knew her and her wit will be missed by many.
