Obituary of Eva Mae McDaniel
Eva Mae, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior July 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services for Eva will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Pentecostals of Haughton with Rev. Michael Tull officiating. Interment will follow in Point Chapel Cemetery, Doyline, LA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM at Boone Funeral Home-Bossier City.
As a young married women Eva devoted her life to being a wife to Rev. D. M. McDaniel (Buddy) and mother to their children. Late in life, Eva and Buddy were called to be Evangelists. Their passion was helping home mission churches which included anything from serving as pastor to general maintenance, without receiving compensation. Eva truly enjoyed serving her God, and being a wife, mother, grandmother. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, Buddy; father, Harry George; mother, Emma Mills; sister, Joanna Hamel; and brothers, John and David George. She is survived by son, Vince McDaniel and wife Cindy; daughters, Kay Moore and husband Ellis, Kim Golembiski and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Gina Silvio, Josh Moore, Shannon Kershaw, Amanda Shepherd, James Anderson, III, Christina Gordon, Amy Troseth, and Stephen Golembiski; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harry, Reubin and Tim George; sisters, Dorcas Haney and Debra Graham.
Serving as pallbearers will be Vince McDaniel, Ellis Moore, Josh Moore, Michael Shepherd, Mason Shepherd, and Michael Kershaw. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Golembiski, Michael Kershaw, II and Luke Moore.
Eva touched many during her life and her legacy will live on.
