Steven Schevers was born July 27, 1957 to John and Marie Schevers. He married the love of his life, June on May 22, 1982, and later became proud parents of James and Billie Jo. Steve passed away on September 30, 2021 at the age of 64.
Steven enjoyed his employment at Libbey Glass for 35 years. He also enjoyed rebuilding old cars.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Henry Schevers and mother, Marie. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Mac McCuistion.
He is survived by his wife, June; son James (Courtney) Schevers; and daughter Billie Jo Jackson. He also leaves his brother Danny Schevers and sisters Doris Westmoreland and Darlene Holmes to cherish his memory. He will be greatly missed by grandchildren Brittany, Chris, Jolee, Allie, Ellie, and great-grand Charlotte.
Visitation will be held at Boone Funeral Home, 2156 Airline Drive, Bossier City on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 5:00 PM and the Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 PM. The service will be officiated by Pastor Marvin Cooper.
