Obituary of Mary Joe Pritchard

Born Mary Jo Weaver on November 23, 1951 to William Joe and Mary Weaver. Mary worked for Bossier Learning Center and moved to Waller Elementary in 1999, where she retired in 2011. She loved the work that she did and the students she encountered. She made sure all students had necessities and a warm coat to wear. Mary was an avid reader and loved doing so with her grandkids and great grandkids. She loved baking, especially Christmas time with her family. She was deeply loved by many and will be remembered and cherished. Mary Jo passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, on November 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate Edwin G. Pritchard, and her parents. She is survived by one brother, Kenneth Weaver and two children Robert Lewis and wife Kala and daughter Monique Thomas and husband Bryan, and eleven grandkids Cody, Brandon, Shyann and husband Gilley, Logan, Lindsey. Zack, Jessica, Kayleigh, Matthew and wife Anna. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren who she dearly loved, Sessilee, Tanner, Caiden, Sawyer, Jace, Maddie, Ava, Scarlett, Brylee, and Levi. Thank you for years of love and support from lifelong friends Jackie Burchett, Albert Neely, and special niece Shannon Micciantuono. The family would like to extend extreme and sincere Thank You to Jackie, Veronica, and Lisa, and Haley from Nightingale Hospice. The Memorial Service will be Saturday November 20, at 10:30 am. led by Brother Larry Earhart at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church at 9284 Highway 80 in Minden, LA. Family extends an invitation to join them for food and celebration of life after the service at 944 Ward Lane, Princeton LA.
