Obituary of Linda Dianne Teal

Linda Dianne Teal was born November 17, 1949 in Springhill, Louisiana. Linda went home on January 3, 2022 in Bossier City. Funeral services for Linda will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Boone Funeral Home. Interment will be following in Shady Grove Cemetery, Haynesville, LA. The family will receive friends between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Boone Funeral Home. Linda worked for LCPS in the Louisiana State Building, Shreveport from 1985 until 1998. After leaving LCPS she continued her career with the State of Louisiana with LRS. Linda enjoyed living in Bossier City with her Cajun husband Edward Paul Teal. Both of which, were active members of Airline Drive Church of Christ for 56 years. Edward and Linda enjoyed running the bus ministry together and other activities offered by the church. Preceding Linda in death is her husband Edward Paul Teal; parents, Montel W. and Lillian Crump Dickson. She is survived by son, Joseph Paul Teal of Tulsa, OK; grandson, Skyler Dewayne Teal of Benton, LA; brother, William Montel Dickson of Fort Worth, TX; granddaughter, Novaligh Ann Guyon of South Carolina; nephews, Ross Dickson of Dangerfield, TX, and Robert Dickson of Pittsburg, TX; and cousin, Judy Gail Dickson of Haughton, LA. The family request that donations be made to Old Brownlee Community Care or Bossier Kids, in lieu of flowers. Linda is at rest with her Lord and Savior and the love of her life. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
