Obituary of Alice June Collins

Alice Collins, 71, of Shreveport, La passed away on January 27, 2022. Funeral services will be held February 5, 2022 at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier at 3pm. A Private memorial with family will follow in Sulphur, La. Boone Funeral home is handling arrangements. Alice was born in East St Louis, Illinois on November 15, 1949. She graduated from Sulphur High School and went on to be a wife and mother. She was Married to Stephen Collins July of 1976. They went on to have two children, Nathan Collins and Wendy Collins Brooks. Alice went to work at Walmart in Shreveport for 30 years as a door greeter and become a local celebrity of sorts. She was an avid reader, trivia nerd and loved her animals. She lived life the way she wanted and on her terms. Alice is survived by her brother Larry Peak of Houston, Tx, her children Nathan Collins of Shreveport and her daughter Wendy Collins Brooks and her husband Rusty Brooks of Princeton, La. She is proceeded in death by her parents Paul and Dorothy Peak and her husband Stephen Collins.
