Obituary of Hilda Figueroa

Hilda Figueroa, 65, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away February 12, 2022, with her family by her side. Hilda was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. In January of 1980 she married Gonzalo and together they went on to have 3 children. Hilda was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. She was one of the strongest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family. Hilda was passionate about her Catholic faith and wanted to make a difference in peoples lives. She spent many hours volunteering at church as a member of the Guadalupanas, a Lector and as a teacher of Catechism. Her passion to help others lead her to a career in the health field. She started her medical path working as a radiographer and eventually earned her license as a vocational nurse. Her heart was always open for anyone in need. Hilda was predeceased by her mother Escolastica; brother Adrian; sisters, Yolanda and Leticia; nephew Alex. She is survived by her husband Gonzalo; children Elizabet, Daniel and Edward; brothers Alfredo and Robert; sisters Blanche, Silvia, Norma and Lorena; grandchildren, Isabelle, Logan, Nathaniel and Amelia.
