Please share a memory of Jane to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jane Ann Peter Waller passed away after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer on July 30, 2022, at age 80. She was born to Walter and Geraldine Septer Peter on May 31, 1942, in Sandusky, Ohio. She married her high school sweetheart Floyd “Jay” Waller and they had three children. Being a military spouse, she experienced living in several states and the canal-zone in Panama.
She spent most of her younger adult years being a dedicated mother and homemaker. She worked diligently and passionately at her tasks and raising their children.
One of her favorite hobbies was sewing. Being a perfectionist, each item she made was flawless. While a member of First United Methodist Church of Bossier City, Louisiana, she used her talents making beautiful baskets and other craft items for their annual fundraising events.
Later in life, her dream of owning a dress shop came true. Jay and Jane opened Chez J’s in 1992 where they enjoyed helping young ladies look fabulous for their pageant or prom-night.
Jane added a lot of brightness and color to everyday living from creative sharpness, shown in the beauty of their home, while bringing comfort and joy into the lives of her family.
Jane was proceeded in death by her husband Jay Waller, her parents Walter and Geraldine Peter.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Jeffrey and wife DeAnn Waller, Justin Waller, and Jacqueline and husband Matthew Lowery, and grandchildren Christian and wife Winnie Lowery, and Caleb Lowery.
Surviving family are her brother Bill and wife Linda Peter, sister Lynn and husband Ronnie Milburn.
A graveside service will be at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia, Ohio with date to be determined.
