Juanetz and Jack were married in 1949 at the First Christian Church in North Little Rock, AR. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in May 1999. They lived in Shreveport three times, 1949-1951, 1953-1965 and returned in 1985 after they retired. They were in Memphis for 20 years. Juanetz attended North Little Rock High School and graduated from Smackover High School in 1944. A skillful dancer, she was a dance teacher, a beautician, and a secretary-bookkeeper for Memphis University for 14 years until her retirement in 1982. She was an energetic participant in all phases of her social and religious life. In addition to her duties while at the University, she was motivator and "Den Mother" to many of her beloved grad students. Upon returning to Shreveport, Juanetz quickly involved herself in the many endeavors of Kings Highway Christian Church and she treasured these associations with her "Christian brothers and sisters". A humane and caring individual, it can be truly said that "Juanetz paid her dues". She was an active volunteer at Grace Home since the facility was first opened. Active with her CWF group, she also lent herself to many other endeavors, both social and religious. This was a woman who will be remembered time and again, because of her good works and her joyful approach to life.
