Obituary of Jerry Petty

Jerry C. Petty was born on July 01, 1935, in Braggs, Oklahoma and grew up in Visalia, California. Jerry passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 85. His Memorial Mass will be on Friday November 27, 2020, at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church at 4:00 p.m.

Jerry retired from Rainbo Bakeries in Fresno, California. He worked for Harrah’s/Horseshoe Casinos in Atlantic City, Nevada, Mississippi, and Bossier City. Jerry also, worked at Kroger in Bossier City.

Jerry is preceded in death by the love of his life Illa Petty, his two sons, Jerry and Michael Petty, his parents Frank and Norma Petty, and his sister Lynda Starr. He is survived by his daughter Jeannette Petty, son Mark Petty and his wife Joyce; grandchildren Josh and Amanda Petty; two brothers and their wives Herschel and Sondra and James and Chris.
