Doll Moore Shreveport November 25, 2005 10:07 AM I was deeply saddened to lea of Dr. Martin's sudden illness and death. I took my pets for years to him while I lived in town but after remarrying and moving 6 miles south of town, it wasn't feasible to continue. I approached Dr. Martin about allowing us to advertise our son-in-law, Paul Young when he ran for juvenile judge several years ago. He allowed us to put up big signs at both locations in Shreveport. I always deeply appreciated his support. He was a good, kind, generous man. I will miss knowing that he is no longer here. I advised my daughter recently to take her pet cats to him as she is a nurse at VA and it would be so convenient for her, not to mention the good care they would receive. She did and was so pleased. She was the one who called me to let me know he was in the VA and personally checked on him and his care. He was such a great person. I will always feel a sense of sadness as I drive by Youree and Stoner.
