Paul Brennan Smith
Paul “Pablo” Brennan Smith was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday June 10, 2020 after two and half years battle with lung cancer. He died peacefully in the hospital with his son and wife by his side. Paul was 71 and was born in Rochester New York. Paul and Lilly had 27 years of marriage. They were married in Guadalajara Mexico on October 23, 1993.
Paul was a caring daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend. He retired from his construction business in 2018. He was proud to have served in the growth and expansion of many cities from 1970 to 2018, such as Plano and Frisco Texas, as well as the Embassy Suites throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth area. In Louisiana, he was part of the new development of Barksdale Air Force Base’s Historical Housing and the East Side Housing. As well as the growth and expansion of the city housing like; Golden Meadows, Plantation Trace, Madison Place, Sun Flower, Cypress Bend, Dogwood, Stockwell Place, Southern Gardens and Tiburon. He also had the opportunity to develop outside United States building a five start 324 room Barcelo Karmina hotel in Manzanillo Mexico in 1990.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Gen Smith and sister Katy Smith. He is survived by wife Lilly and son Kevin Smith. He is also survived by children from a previous marriage Stephanie and Mindy Smith; sisters, Tina Thompson and Genny Ferrell; nieces and nephew, whom he loved so much!.
The funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Boone Funeral Home Bossier.
