Obituary of Trudy Mary Doiron
Beloved mother and grandmother, Trudy Mary Doiron passed away on June 16, 2020 at home after a brief illness. Her partner of 27 years, Bryan Taylor, was by her side. Trudy was born on June 14, 1957 in Ireland to her Irish mother, Julia Bridget Murphy Doiron, and her American father, Walter Noah Doiron. Her father was a Korean War veteran.
Trudy grew up in Louisiana and attended Parkway High School. At various points of her adult life, she also lived in California and Oklahoma, before she returned to live the remainder of her years in Bossier City.
Trudy was preceded in death by her father and mother, her sister Linda Pearl Doiron, her brother Terence (Terry) Murphy, and her granddaughter Alyssa McAllister.
Left to honor her memory are her partner, Bryan; her daughter, Gayle (B. Allyson) Doiron Welton Juneau-Butler; her sons, Richard (Krystal) McAllister Jr., Russell McAllister, Robert (Laura) McAllister, Randy McAllister, Ronald (Lourdes) McAllister, Daniel Ryan McAllister, and Raymond Doiron; her grandchildren, Topanga McAllister, Mariah Mayhew, Ronald McAllister Jr., Piers Juneau-Butler, and Meridian Juneau-Butler; and her niece, Alyssa (Allan) Murphy Thomas.
Trudy will be remembered for her gentle, free, and generous spirit, her creativity, and her fierce love for Bryan, all of her friends, her children, their spouses/partners, and her grandchildren.
“Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.” May Trudy now find peace and beauty. Arrangements for a private celebration of life service are currently underway.
