Bossier City-Graveside services for Mrs. Simonne Porter will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at 1:00 pm at Ogden Cemetery, Liddieville, LA. The family will be receiving friends at Boone Funeral Home Monday from 5-8 PM. Mrs. Porter passed away Saturday, February 10, 2007.
She was born on October 20, 1920, in Paris, France. Mrs. Porter was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith. She always enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Her husband Joseph Porter and her parents preceded her in death. Surviving her are her daughters: Evelyn Porter, Marlene Hill and husband Ronald; grandchildren: Sherry Jennings and husband Kevin, Shawn Mizell and wife Lori, and five great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Angelo, Mary Grace, and the staff of Cypress Point Nursing Home for their care and concern over the past few months
