Obituary of Mildred Carlene Campbell

Please share a memory of Mildred to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mildred "Memaw" Campbell Memorial services honoring the life of Millie will be held on Friday, June 9th at Boone Funeral Home in Shreveport. Family will receive visitors and friends from 12:00-2:00. The service will follow the visitation. Roger Haynes will officiate. Millie was born June 6, 1942 in Kilgore, TX and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 3, 2017. She spent the last 46 years married to the love of her life David "Pops" Campbell. The two spent many years travelling and enjoying motorcycle rides. Her favorite past time was music and dancing. Anyone who visited her home would know she collected pictures of her grands and great grands. She also was a collector of shoes and purses. We would always say when we borrowed items that we shop at "Mom's Closet". Of course, we can't leave out her one and only favorite son, who she loved to have sing to her. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, Son-Bobby Middlebrook Jr. and fiancé Sherry Solice of Shreveport; Daughters-Debi Boyt of Shreveport, Wanda Pridgen (husband Steve) of Keithville, Vicki Adams (husband Kevin) of Keithville, Monica Thomas (husband Troy) of Walker, Davi Brooks (husband Chris) of Tennessee; Brothers-Ronnie Festervan of Shreveport and Danny Festervan (wife Cheryl) of Haughton; Sisters-Diane Sanders of Blanchard and Paula Parrish of Blanchard; also, 18 Grands and 22 Great Grands, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends Bones and Fluffy. A special thanks to the Grace Home Hospice team and the nursing staff at Christus Highland.
