Obituary of Randall Lamar Reeves, Sr.
Lamar died Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the age 65, after a brief illness. He was born February 27, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana to WillieFrank and Helen Reeves. After his parents tragic death he was raised by his grandparents Jack and Beulah Pitchford. He was raised as a Bossier Boy, because he resided in Bossier much of his life.
Lamar married the love of his life, Lisa Bailey Reeves on October 1st, 1983. They had two children together; Elizabeth Reeves and Randall Reeves Jr. He had one granddaughter, Ryleigh Ritchie-Reeves who he loved dearly. Lamar absolutely loved spending time with his family.
He was a bail bondsman in the Bossier City/ Shreveport area for 20 years. During his free time, He enjoyed many leisure activities including; playing video games, going fishing, listening to music and playing guitar. In recent years Lamar has spent time with his canine companion, Rosco. Lamar was a diehard LSU and Saints fan.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Lisa, his two children Randall, and Elizabeth, granddaughter Ryleigh, and cousin Carolyn Donovan and her wife Leslie Ness, and his dog Rosco.
He is preceded in death by his parents Helen and Frank Reeves, and his grandparents Jack and Beulah Pitchford.
The pallbearers will be Eddie Sanders, Mark Robbins, David McCart, Larry LaBlanc, Johnny Snyder, and Brad Tidwell. Honorary Pallbearer is Shayla Jones.
Services for Lamar will be held at Boone funeral home. The visitation will be held Saturday March 9th from 5-7pm. Funeral services will be Sunday March 10th at 11am. Interment will follow the funeral service at Rocky Mount Cemetery in Ringgold, Louisiana.
