David Edward Wright’s memorial service will be held on Saturday April 20, 2019 11am at Cross Creek Cowboy Church on Hwy 77 in Atlanta, TX.

David went to his Lord on April 15, 2019 after a long term illness.  He was born on June 5, 1953 to Marion, and Cloie Wright in Vivian, LA. David married the love of his life Rebecca, on June 5, 1972.  They had three children Steven, Therisa, Barry Wright.

David was an avid Coon hunter, and he enjoyed the sport with many friends. He loved bluetick hounds, but his hunting buddies say he could turn anything into a coondog. David was able to find his way around the woods without any sort of direction, and he was known for always beating his hunting buddies back to the truck.

David is preceded in death by his parents Marion and Cloie Wright, Brothers Calvin and James Wright, his daughter Therisa Wright Still. David is survived by his wife of 47 years Rebecca Wright; Children Steven (Cindy) Wright, and Barry Wright; Brother, Manuel Wright; Grandchildren: Shawn Wright, Anna Wright, Kacey Wright, Lacey Wright, CJ Whatley, Michael (Madison) Stiles, Dylan (Haley) Stiles, Lauren Stiles, Stephanie Wright, Adrianna Wright, Madison Wright, Kathrine Wright, Edward Wright and Great Grandchildren; Wyatt Stiles, Rutland Grider Stiles, and many other relatives and friends

David will be missed by all.
