Obituary of April Marie Hammontree

April Marie Hammontree was born March 17, 1982 to Randy and Jerri Hammontree in Shreveport, LA.  April gained her Angel wings on December 26, 2020 at home with her family.  A Celebration of Life service for April will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Boone Funeral Home.  A time of gathering will be one hour prior to service.

Spending time with family was April's favorite thing.  Anytime she heard her siblings come around, her face would light up.  She loved joining in their conversations.  She also enjoyed boat riding, swimming, riding four wheelers, listening to music, and holding babies. 

Waiting for April in Heaven are her grandparents, Jerry "Papa" Harris, Odis Hammontree and Rose Hammontree; and uncle, Paul Strange. 

Left to cheirsh precious memories are her parents, Randy and Jerri Hammontree; sister, Randi Rose Moore and husband Daniel; brothers, Jeremy Hammontree and wife Gina, and Justin Hammontree; nieces and nephews, Kendall Corkern, Lane Hammontree, Skylar Hammontree, Kylie McKnight and Danni Moore; grandmother, Marie "Nana" Harris; and many other family members and friends. 

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Christus Highland Hospital for their love and care of April.

April gave so much joy and love to so many people.  Her kind and loving spirit touched so many.  She will never be forgotten.
