Mickey Manning was born November 18, 1946 at Barksdale Air Force Base to Bill and Joella Manning.  Sadly Mickey went to be with his wife, Dorothy, on March 19, 2019 with his son by his side.

While in college, Mickey, proudly joined the US Army and became part of the 82nd Airborne.  During this time, he served his country in Vietnam and obtained the rank of Sgt.  He was awarded the Bronze Star, and Army Commendation Medal.  After separating from the Army, he met and married the love of his life.  They enjoyed many years together and had one son.

Proceeding him in death is his wife, Dorothy; parents, Bill and Joella Manning; and sister, Judy Manning Hunt.  Left to cherish his memory are son, Bryan Manning; brothers, Tommy Manning and wife Pam, Tim Moss and wife Karen, Mike Moss; sisters, Evelyn Helms and husband John, Jennifer Hutson and husband John; four grandchildren, three nieces and step-daughter, Trena Cook.

Mickey loved his family, but especially his grandchildren.  His legacy will continue through them.
