JC Barnett was a man that I have admired and respected for a very long time. Not to mention one of the smartest men I have ever known. My best memories are with the Barnett's on Mike Street growing up. J being the sports lover he was, tried to teach me how to throw a curve ball but at the age of 9, not easy to do. He had patience for sure. I can remember J rounding up all of the neighborhood kids and loading us in the back of his truck and he would take us to the local store and buy us all Icees. Big treat for a little kid in the middle of summer.
J was a man that could fix or build anything and I certainly wanted that ability as well. He helped my parents numerous times with their car the house, electronics...Mom would always say...J can fix it and that he did. What a blessing.
JC, I know you are having the biggest reunion of all times in Heaven now and I am so proud to say, I knew JC Barnett.
Peggy, David, my prayers go out to you both during this difficult time.
God Bless You.
