Obituary of Sue Ann Harper Beatty

Sue Ann Harper Beatty, age 68, of Minden, LA passed away on Monday October 26, 2015 at LSU Health following a sudden illness. A Life Celebration will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Minden on Sunday November 8, 2015 at 2 P.M. Cheerful dress is encouraged! Sue was born in Minden and is a 1966 graduate of Minden High School and a member of the Louisi-Annes. She was a wonderful Mother and a military wife for forty years. She recently worked as a caregiver and volunteer for Webster Humane Association. She enjoyed her family, pets, gardening and had a deep love for her church family. Sue was proceeded in death by her parents, Louise and J.P. Jackson, of Minden. Sue is survived by her daughters Shannon Thornton, Deanne and husband Tracy Grider of Linden, TX; sister Mme G. Grider of Haughton; Grandchildren, Cole Thornton of Sibley; Caitlin Grider, Drew and wife Brittany Grider, Linden, TX; Nieces, Heather Ogea and Cassie Cole; grand nephew, Dade Ogea, of Shreveport and many very dear friends. In lieu of flowers, please make Memorial Donations to: Webster Humane Association, PO Box 218, Minden, LA 71058 or Emmanuel Baptist Church, 713 Homer Road, Minden, LA 71055.
