Minden, LA ? Memorial services for Tut Brown will be 12:00, Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Shreveport Life Church, 222 Meriwether Road, Shreveport. Tut passed away January 22, 2011 after a very good life with lots of friends and co-workers. . He graduated from Fair Park High School in 1947, was an active member of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitters Local 141, and served as director of the Shreveport Bowling Association for eight years. He met the love of his life and married Mary Jane on January 13, 1948. Many of their family and friends said the marriage would not last, but it did for 63 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Louise and Ellison Brown, Sr. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Mary Jane Brown; four sons, Aubrey, Charles, Michael and David Brown; ten grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
