Obituary of Billy Ray Davidson

Billy Ray Davidson passed from this life into a better life on December 24, 2015. He was born in Sarepta, LA and he lived in Shreveport for over sixty years. Billy Ray and Della Ortega Davidson were married in 1953 and their marriage has lasted over sixty-two years. Billy Ray worked in automobile sales, he was successful and he greatly enjoyed what he did. Those whom he leaves behind are Della, his wife and three children, D'Wayne Davidson, Lisa Woodward and Darlene Pace; two brothers and a sister, Bobby Davidson, Bettye Jo Van Esler and Douglas Davidson. Seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents E.A. Davidson, Fannie Davidson and his son Ronald Ray Davidson. Pallbearers are: Brian Davidson, Daniel Woodward, Brandon Davidson, Jason Davidson, Austin Pace and Buddy Thames. Ministers are Eugene McBride and Dennis Aaron. Visitation will be at Boone Funeral Home in Shreveport on Tuesday 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Funeral Service at Boone Funeral Home on Wednesday at 10:45 A.M. Burial to follow at Northwest LA Veteran's Cemetery.
