Benton, La- Pauline Hardy, better known as "Nana" to most that knew her, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2020. Her family was by her side and holding her hand when she passed. She was preceded in death by her daughter Rachel Hinds and son Richard Hinds. She is survived by her husband Cortez Hardy, a son Pat Hinds and wife Gwen Hinds; daughter, Chasity Teer, whom she adopted and raised as her own, and husband James Teer; three sisters, Agnes Green, Teresa Lambert, and Gloria Robinson; and a brother, Paul Ramirez. Nana was also survived by four grandchildren, Christol Hinds, Jason Hinds, Morgan Hinds and Anna Crenshaw; as well as eight great-grandchildren, Rachel Thomas, Shelby Hedgepeth, Isaih Hinds, Joshua Penitusi, Naomi & Ezra Crenshaw, Paige & Justin Hinds; and also three great-great grandsons, Brendan & Everett Thomas and Brycen Hedgepeth.

Nana will forever be known as an amazing cook and caregiver whose door was always open to friends, family and neighbors.  Nana’s legacy of love and compassion for others will continue for many generations through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at the Teer's house (236 West Lake Rd Benton LA) from 11-2. The lake side service will begin at 1:30
