Bossier City, LA- Graveside services for Mrs. Alice Parnell age 94, will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Alabama Presbyterian Cemetery, near Choudrant, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Beth Sentell of Trinity Presbyterian Church of Bossier City, LA. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service, at the Alabama Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Parnell went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2008. She was born March 22, 1914 in Choudrant, LA. She was always her husband's best assistant in his ministry, and was equally exceptional in her care of her home and family. Mrs. Parnell was preceded in death by her husband; Lannie Parnell, and her son; John Burton Parnell. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter; Myrna Keast, four grandchildren; Teresa Waresback and husband Damon, Scot Parnell and wife Dee, Ginny Keast and Rachel Keast, five great-grandchildren; and her dear friend Marie Demler. Serving as pallbearers will be; Marshall Boyd, Tom Koch, Bill Parnell, Scot Parnell, Brad Waresback and Damon Waresback. The family wishes to thank the many medical specialists, especially Dr. Nealan Prather for his loving care throughout the years. Mrs. Parnells family requests that memorials be made to the donors favorite charity.
