Pauline Hines Powell, 85, formerly of Bossier City, passed away peacefully in Hospice Care July 24, 2013 with her family at her side. She was born the youngest of 10 Children on October 6, 1927 near Bradley Arkansas. Pauline was strong in her Christian Faith, believed in the kindness of the Lord, and she passed this kindness forward. She was a homemaker and loved to cook and sew for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; James & Vester Hines of Vivian, La., her brothers and sisters, a brother-in-law Wayne Mulford, a son-in-law Mike Morton, two nephews Kenny Powell and Glen Alderman, and a great granddaughter Haley Cox. She is survived by her husband of 66 years John Powell, son Larry Powell (Susie), daughter Phyllis Morton, daughter Louise Harris (Richard), seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many other relatives. She was loved by and will be missed by all who knew her! Viewing will be from 5 - 7pm Thursday August 8 with service at 10am on Friday at the Boone Funeral Home Chapel. She will be interred at Hillcrest Cemetery 601 Highway 80 East, Haughton, LA. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014.
