Ruth and I had an immediate connection when I was hired at the Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana Synod Office back in 1988. She was the first synodical treasurer of the NT-NL Synod. I loved working with her. I loved her quick whit and no nonsense, down to earth earth manner. We just got each other! I thank the Lord that our journeys crossed.
