Mooringsport, LA ? Funeral services for Charlotte Ann Cook will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Louisiana Funeral and Cremation Care, 3903 Meriwether Road, Shreveport. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Jim Gstohl of Tower Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 10, 2010 between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 PM at Louisiana Funeral and Cremation Care. Charlotte was born December 10, 1944 to Mamie and Alvia Weeks, Sr. in Shreveport and passed away March 8, 2010. During her life, she had a passionate love for all children and taught many classes in Sunday School. Her children and grandchildren were her life. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and two brothers. She is survived by husband of 47 years, Walter; two sons, Daniel Eric and Adam Duane Cook; three grandchildren, Kelsie, Shay and Owen; adopted grandson Colton, along with many nieces and nephews. Acting as pallbears will be Daniel Cook, Adam Cook, Kurtis Hicks, Mark Hicks ?Pops?, Anthony Bobbit, Clint Gicker, Daniel Height, and Andrew Griffin.
