Obituary of Jimmy Wayne Tauzin

It is with great sadness that the family of Jimmy Wayne Tauzin announces his sudden passing at the age of 62 years. It was his wish to donate his body so that he could help others in death.

Jimmy was born September 23, 1956, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He had a variety of careers but he enjoyed being his own boss and working with his hands.  He was a skilled craftsman and carpenter and could fix almost anything.  In his younger years, he was an avid movie watcher and pool player. He also spent many Sundays watching football games.

Preceding him in death are parents, Paul Reed and Katie Tauzin, and brothers, Paul and John Tauzin. He will be fondly remembered by his children, Jonathan and Jenifer, grandchildren; Luke, Emilio, and Emerson, sisters; Alice and Linda, sister-in-law, Brenda, and other family members; Christi and David Eddins, their children; and Melissa Loyd and children.

Jimmy searched for peace throughout much of his life, yet often found himself solely in his own company. He will be remembered for his persistence during difficult times, and we know he can now rest peacefully.
