Taylor family, my heart broke when I heard of your father’s passing, and now it’s more heartbroken to hear that your mother has passed so quickly afterwards.
My memories of your parents were when we lived in Louisiana in the 60’s until 1970. Our Dads were best friends. They raced our families boats, raced cars and Dad totaled his Gran Torino.
Both of our Dads were drill Sgt’s at Ft Polk. Their friendship continued on after my Dad was KIA and my mom requested your Dad as a special escort to bring my Dad’s remains home to us. I’ve never forgotten. I wanted to come visit you all so badly, but never made time. For that I am terribly sorry.
May GOD comfort you all and bring you peace. You have been in my thoughts daily.
