Papaw was a great man and there is not enough words to explain that. I loved him with all my heart. I hope now he is in mamaw's loving and caring arms and happy as he could ever be. Now he has no illness so he can do what he wants and with the one he loved the most.

I unfortunately did not get to know Uncle Jodie as well as I would have liked. Miles between us made it hard to just stop by and visit. However, he was everything to my dad. My dad has talked about his brother with so much love throughout my entire life. They spent some quality time toghether this past summer and made some wonderful memories. Love you Uncle Jodie. James misses you so much already.

I love you Dad and I hope you are holding her in your arms right now. Hold on to each other tightly until I can be with yall again. My heart aches and I am trying hard to be brave and strong. But it is hard when it hurts this bad!
