Mooringsport, LA ? Funeral services for Jodie R. Caldwell will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport Chapel, 3903 Meriwether Road, Shreveport. Interment will follow in Old Blanchard Cemetery, Blanchard, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Weldon Sistrunk. The family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2011 at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport Chapel. Jodie was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Beverly Bostwick Caldwell; father and mother, Jodie and Emmaline Fish Caldwell; two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by daughter, Alecia ?Lisa? Caldwell Mitchell and husband Herman; grandchildren, Amanda Holcomb and husband David, Kyle Cornwell and Morgan Mitchell; great-granddaughter, Avery Holcomb; one brother and six sisters; and many other family and friends. Pallbearers will be George ?Jabbo? Miller, Cliff Hughes, Dusty Jones, Pete Rosales, Justin Rosales and Jared Hayes. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale ?Turtle? Morris and Danny Philibert.
